Acupuncture has a long successful history with both adults and children. Pediatric acupuncture includes a practice called “shonishin” that means children’s needle or children’s needling. This practice uses non invasive techniques often without the insertion of a needle and can be used for a wide range of aliments. Another technique of “in and out” needling is also used with specific Serin needle that is painless and not retained in the body.
